These spectacular Australian species of gecko are incredibly easy and rewarding to keep. 

 Saltuarius salebrosus- Their massive size, odd tail and cryptic looks make for an incredible display animal.  We keep our adults in 18"x18"x24" enclosures.  They are completely insectivorous and breeding adults benefit from a winter cooling

P. amnicola - They change coloration from night to day, going from slaty gray, all the way to a whitish pink with dark spots.  These are the glass frogs of the gecko world, as they can almost be translucent at times!

The Biak Island Tree Monitors are a personal favorite here at Sundown Reptiles.  Their black webbing and green ocelli on their dorsal make for an incredible pattern on a monitor.  These are also the smallest species of tree monitor.  We are proud to be offering captive bred offspring.  

Our specimens are true captive bred animals that are produced here in our facility in the USA.  This means that you don't have to worry about acclimation to captivity, foreign parasites and the possibility of getting a sick/weak animal.    

We strongly suggest a 4'x4'x2' minimum sized enclosure for adults.  UVB, a warm basking area, high humidity, and lots of climbing branches will also be a requirement.  If you are not able to provide these important necessities, then these are not for you!  If you can meet these requirements, prepare to enjoy one of the most amazing reptiles on the planet!

An endemic species from Batanta Island, this species is an absolute gem of the reptile world.  While their coloration alone makes them a breathtaking animal to watch, their intelligence is what really sets these apart from the rest.  Our specimens are true captive bred animals that are produced here in our facility in the USA.  This means that you don't have to worry about acclimation to captivity, foreign parasites and the possibility of getting a sick/weak animal.    

We strongly suggest a 4'x4'x2' minimum sized enclosure for adults.  UVB, a warm basking area, high humidity, and lots of climbing branches will also be a requirement.  If you are not able to provide these important necessities, then these are not for you!  If you can meet these requirements, prepare to enjoy one of the most amazing reptiles on the planet!

These stunning and easy to keep gecko species are endemic to different parts of China and Japan.  They are insectivorous and can be kept at cooler room temperatures.  They do not require any special lighting or heating, therefore making them a very popular genus of gecko for keepers of all skill levels.

Crested geckos are hands down one of the most popular, variable and interesting geckos in the world.  Their ease of care and prolific breeding habits make them extremely rewarding geckos to work with.  My select group of animals is a reflection of the traits that I find to be attractive within the species.  Enjoy!

Endemic to the island of Waigeo, these incredible tree monitors are covered with golden flecks on a black body.  These are the rarest tree monitors in captivity currently, as they were not historically imported into the U.S. with any regularity.  We are proud to be offering captive bred offspring from our group.

Chondros are without a doubt one of the most beautiful snakes on our planet.  Ranging from the Northern tip of Australia and all throughout Papua New Guinea, these incredible snakes are show-stoppers.  We are offering captive bred animals produced here at our facility from blue-line adults.  Animals will be well started, healthy and tested for nidovirus before being shipped out.

The largest extant species of gecko in the world!  R. leachianus originate from New Caledonia and have become an extremely popular species in the hobby.  Our diverse group consists of both locale-specific and high color crosses.

With spines on their tail and head, it is hard to ignore the beauty and dragon-like appearance of the Northern Spiny-Tailed Gecko.  This Australian species basks on branches, making them incredible display animals.

This incredible Australian dwarf monitor species is what started the varanid addiction over here.  Personality, color and perfect size equates to an amazing species to keep.  They are primarily insectivorous and like it hot!  A must for all varanid enthusiasts.

Abronia are the gems of the New World Cloud Forests.  These high elevation dragons are truly captivating animals with incredible personalities. 
While it is difficult to find true Captive Bred offspring, we are proud and exited to offer you true captive bred babies, produced here from parents that we have raised up since they were pups.

This Australian endemic is the largest of the Knob-Tailed Geckos.  They have an extremely small tail and will give off a raspy bark when disturbed.  Despite their sometimes grumpy disposition, we find these little geckos to be amazing!

One of the smaller New Caledonian endemics.  This interesting species is easy to care for, and follows similar husbandry guidelines to the other New Caledonian species.
